"AN AMAZING FAITH TO EXERCISE IN 2012" (Luke 7: 1-10)

Monday Sermon For LJUSC, JANUARY 30, 2012

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

May I greet you all my brethren in Jesus Name and praising our Father in Heaven for the precious opportunity to share and minister to you, concerning the sermon of “An Amazing Faith” to give you knowledge ,power and authority to proof that the impossibility of everything can become a possibility when we all trusting in God with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, for nothing is impossible with God. I believe that living in faith by the Word of God will enable you to overcome the world, for we are more than conquerors trough Him who loved us and having the power and authority to defeat our enemies from the Kingdom of Darkness since before the foundation of the world God has made us a Chosen Generation, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation and His own Special People for His Kingdom on this earth.

It is also my special privilege to share this message with you that we will be able to exercise our faith miraculously in the year of 2012, so that we will see everything what we speak will come to pass and whatever we ask when we pray, believe that you receive them and we will have them . When we do not doubt in our heart, but we believe that everything what we say will be done, then finally we will have whatever we say in Jesus Name.

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Faith is a foundation of most of our lives. It is the basis of all religions. It is the glue that holds all relationships together. Faith is the fundamental requirement for Christianity. It says in the Bible that Faith is the Substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Salvation according to Christianity is a work of God in Christ through our faith. Faith is the trigger that releases the salvation that is a gift of God. What happens, however, when we lose our faith. A fundamental principle is that faith will always be tested. Whether is a result of circumstances and or an intentional act of God to develop a person is up for debate, but faith will always be tested.

A tested faith has three results: A Broken Faith, a Bent Faith, or a Tempered Faith. A Broken Faith is when there is no faith left. With a Broken Faith the person does not believe in God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, or the Church. They may say they still believe, but for all practical purposes they do not believe because they do not live or make decisions based upon their faith. There is no trust and therefore no results flowing out of faith. A person with Broken Faith can regain their faith even when they may deny any belief at all. There is not bottom to a person with Broken Faith that Jesus cannot mend. A person with Bent Faith still holds to the basic tenets of their previous faith, but because of disappointment or failed expectations no longer walks strongly in faith in their daily living. They may walk in faith in one area, but not in another.

When examined one would class them as broken if one only looked at the bent area, but other areas can be quite strong in faith. This person might have great faith for the work of God in the lives of others and have great understanding and discernment and yet have no faith for the work of God in their own lives and therefore does not practice their faith throughout their life. This person too can be healed, but it often takes a greater work, because they have some and that can be regarded as enough even though some faith is never enough to satisfy and live by. Tempered Faith can be a consequence of a time of testing. This person chooses to trust Jesus Christ through the trials and tribulations.

They have faith irregardless of the kind of test, the length of the test, or what the future looks like beyond the test. Their faith is based on their relationship with Jesus and although they may wonder about when the test will end or its purpose they do not stop trusting. As a result they are able to be successful with additional and even larger trials. They are equipped to aid others as they are tested. Their relationship and fellowship with their Savior grows deeper and more intimate. What is the difference between the three? Sometimes it is personality, rearing, peer group, training, or previous experiences. Ultimately, they hit a wall and choose to no longer trust, to partially trust, or to simply trust. Today is good day to restart your faith. Begin at any point: a thought, an act, a choice, a life.

Let’s try to know more about the meaning of Faith given by other believers or the Servant of God:

Faith is not believing that God can, it is knowing that He will.
Faith is belief with strong conviction; firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof; complete trust in or devotion to. Faith is the opposite of doubt.
Faith is believing in what is true. Faith has two elements: 1) being convinced of the truth, being certain of reality, having evidence of unseen things, and 2) believing, hoping in, embracing, seizing the truth.

Faith is deaf to doubt, dumb to discouragement, blind to impossibilities and know nothing but success in God.
"True faith requires that we believe everything God has said about Himself, but also that we believe everything he has said about US. Until we believe that we are really as bad as God says we are, we can never believe that He will do for us what He says He will do. Right here is where popular religion breaks down."

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence(or proof) of things not seen. In other words, faith makes us sure of the things we hope for, and that assurance is itself proof of these things.
Walking by faith means being prepared to trust where we are not permitted to see.
Faith allows God to do for us and with us what we could never do alone.
Being sure of what you hope or and certain of what you do not see.
Faith is believing in things that common sense tells you not to.

Faith stagnates unless you expose yourself.
Faith is not a noun, it is a verb, Action is a critical part of faith.
Faith is in action when you make yourself of vulnerable - practicing what you believe.
Faith allows for no tangible evidence to make available that you may know of which would back up in support your claim, idea, theory or thought. It is simply on overwhelming and understanding that, to you, is convincing.
Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see.
Faith is trusting in what may not exist compared to what we have been convinced exist.
Faith is something you believe that nobody in his right mind would believe.

Dear Precious Brothers and sisters in Christ,

Our sermon today is about a Roman soldier’s faith takes us inside true faith and shows how and what faith does. In seventh chapter of Luke in verses 1-10, we find a centurion who, though he was a Gentile, understood who Christ was and is. It is the story that would of special interest to Theophilus, the Gentile to whom this account is addressed. The story is significant because this was a Gentile who exercised this faith. Even Jesus would remark that this man’s faith was amazing.

“Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. (2) And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die. (3) So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. (4) And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, (5) “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” (6) Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. (7) Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.

(8) For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” (9) When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” (10) And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.”

Only twice in all of Scripture was Jesus said to “marvel” or be amazed. The other time was when he began his public ministry in his hometown of Nazareth, and he was rejected by his fellow Jews – “he was amazed by their lack of faith.” (Mark 6:6, Luke 4:14-30). The centurion had a faith that was more perceptive and sensitive than anything Jesus had witnessed in Israel.

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

What could be more horrible than to amaze the Son of God with one’s lack of faith? What could be more thrilling than to amaze Him with one’s faith. This centurion had amazing faith!
What I want us to consider “Why was Jesus so amazed?” What are characteristics that made this man’s faith so amazing?

1. THE FIRST CHARACTERISTIC OF AN AMAZING FAITH WAS THAT IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO LOVE ACROSS ALL BARRIERS. (vv. 1-2)

“Now when He concluded all His sayings in the hearing of the people, He entered Capernaum. (2) And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and ready to die.”
Jesus has just completed the teaching know as “The Sermon on the Mount.” Now Jesus entered into Capernaum, a city on the northwest shore of the Sea.
of Galilee. While Jesus is in Capernaum, he is approached by representatives of a Roman Centurion. Centurions were commonplace in the Roman Empire. They were equivalent in rank to a modern-day army captain and normally in command of 100 soldiers.

This particular centurion had a servant who was ill, Matthew (8:6) in his account of this incident uses the term (pais) which is young child. Whoever this young man was, Luke who you will remember was a doctor, said he “was sick and ready to die.” If you have ever clung to a loved one that was at death’s door and you felt that he was slowing losing the battle, you know this centurion awful sense of helplessness.

We are told that this man loved Israel, though it was not the land of his birth. It is also evident that this man cared deeply about his young servant, was very out of the ordinary socially. And the crossed racial and ethic barriers when he as a Gentile appealed to a Jew for help.

This man loved people who were not just like himself. I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel particularly effective in loving folks who live outside the social barriers around me.
Hearing that Jesus was in the area, the centurion decides to risk his reputation by going to a Jew for help.

2. THE SECOND CHARACTERISTIC OF AN AMAZING FAITH WAS THAT IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO BE EXCITED AND ACTIVE IN THE WORK OF GOD. (vv. 3-4)

“So when he heard about Jesus, he sent elders of the Jews to Him, pleading with Him to come and heal his servant. (4) And when they came to Jesus, they begged Him earnestly, saying that the one for whom He should do this was deserving, (5) “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.”

We need to understand that the Jewish elders had little love for the Romans in general and Roman soldiers in particular. This man must have been a very unique individual for the elders to be willing to approach Jesus on his behalf.

The elders not only bring the man’s request but they vouch for their Gentile friend. They argue that he is a man of integrity and he was well liked by the Jews, and worthy of Jesus’ help. Verse three says, “The elders when they approached Jesus had said, “for he loves our nation, and has built us a synagogue.” This man had given substantially to the building of a house of worship. Gentile worshipers were barred from the Temple in Jerusalem but not so with the synagogue, the synagogue was a place that even a Gentile could come and listen to the word of God being taught. So in the time and place this centurion lived the major way that God was using to spread his light was the synagogue system, and he used his money, his reputation and his influence to build a synagogue. This centurion consciously chose to participate. He enthusiastically involved himself in what was most apparent that God was doing.

In stark contrast, according to George Barna, the church statistician, among adults who regularly attend church (that is at least once a month) 37% did not give a dime to a church in the last year. He goes on to say that only 3-5% of the people who do give, tithe their income.

Hopefully you give because you recognize that according to God’s Word it is through the local church that he plans to reach a lost world. All of us to some extent are aware of what God is doing in the world. As we remember the example of this centurion I must ask, “What is it that God is doing that you are excited about, that matters to you, that you are enthusiastically giving yourself to?

3. THE THIRD CHARACTERISTIC OF AN AMAZING FAITH WAS THAT IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO APPROACH CHRIST IN GREAT HUMILITY (vv. 6-7a)

We are impressed not only with this man great love, but also his great humility. This passage reveals two essential components of the Christian faith – and understanding of who Christ is and an understanding of who we are.

In verse six we find, “Then Jesus went with them. And when He was already not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to Him, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof. (7) Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You.”

Before Jesus could reach his house, the Centurion sent a second representative to Jesus, tell him that it was not necessary for him to come to his house. Because was familiar with Jewish religious customs, he did not wish to put Jesus in a position of having to enter the house of a Gentile.

This Roman soldier a man of considerable influence and power, was also uniquely humble, he regarded himself as undeserving of having Jesus come under his roof, and even felt unworthy of meeting Jesus in the street. This soldier, unlike the Pharisees does not ask Jesus for a sign that he was who he said he was. This man doesn’t even ask to meet him.

4. THE FOURTH CHARACTERISTIC OF AN AMAZING FAITH WAS THAT IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO BE WILLING TO TRUST IN CHRIST ALONE (vv. 7a-8)

“… But say the word, and my servant will be healed. (8) For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
The centurion apparently realized the one who had power of life and death; that could heal with a word, must be God. And if Christ is divine, then he as a Gentile sinner, was unworthy to even meet him. Respectfully he kneels before his divine authority. All Jesus must do is say the word, and he believes that it is as good as done. There is no evidence that this man ever personally heard Jesus preach and yet he believed. He made his request based on what he had heard of Jesus. Jesus promised a special blessing on people like the centurion and you.

When Jesus appeared to Thomas and removed all his doubts, and proved that he had rose from the dead he said to Thomas, “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet believed.” (John 20:29). That blessing extended to the centurion and to every believer today.

In the word “also” in verse eight we see that the officer saw a parallel between the way he commanded his soldiers and the way Jesus commanded diseases. If this Roman, with very little spiritual instruction had that kind of faith in God’s word, how much greater our faith should be.

In verse nine we see the reaction of Jesus, “When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”

This man’s remarks amaze Jesus, in so much, that they come a Gentile. He marveled at a Roman centurion, whose background and circumstances ought to have made it difficult for him to have faith, a man whose occupation prized being big, bad and tough, a man who was steeped in paganism, a man hated by the Jews because he was a Roman. Yet in spite of all the circumstances that went against him, here stood a man who was striking example of faith.
Almost as an afterthought Luke adds in verse ten, and oh by the way when “…those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.”

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Let’s see what is the conclusion of the message of An Amazing Faith :

What startled and impressed Jesus was the characteristics that anyone can have in their lives. Some think that an amazing faith is the ability to do the miraculous, but miracles are something that Jesus can do any time. I am concerned that you understand with me this morning that there are whose lives would impress Jesus, because of their faithful godly lives. The characteristics of an amazing faith are something that anyone can have to exercise during the perilous time in the new year of 2012.

SUMMARIZING THE CHARACTERISTIC OF AN AMAZING FAITH:

1. IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO LOVE ACROSS ALL BARRIERS.
2. IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO BE EXCITED AND ACTIVE IN THE WORK OF GOD.
3. IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO BE TO APPROACH CHRIST IN GREAT HUMILITY.
4. IT CAUSED THIS MAN TO BE TO BE WILLING TO TRUST IN CHRIST ALONE.

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The end closing of the sermon of An Amazing Faith as the conclusion in general that Faith without action is nothing, for faith is living , bold trust is God’s grace, so certain of God’s favor that it would risk death a thousand times trusting in it. Such confidence and knowledge of God’s grace makes you and me happy, joyful and bold in your personal relationship to God and all creatures.

We have come to understand to find the purpose of the life of faith as a dynamic relationship with the Lord and an overwhelming belief that God will use your life for His ultimate glory :

1.It is faith in God that defeats death.
2 It is faith in God that determines delight.
3.It is faith in God that defines destination.
4.It is faith in God that overcomes evil.
5.It is faith in God that depends on God's will.

Dear Precious Brothers and sisters in Christ,

May I pray that the Lord Jesus will help us to have your faith changes your hearts, your spirits, your thought and all your powers and it bring the Holy Spirit with it to give a living, creative, active and powerful things on this earth especially when we live in the perilous time in the Last Days to enable us to conquer the world and its difficulties which we might face day by day as to trust the Lord at all times by His Words and pouring our hearts unto the Lord to see the amazing things to expect in the days, weeks, months to come in the year of 2012.

43) * THE PRAYERS & SERMONS OF OUR STANDING MINISTERS FOR PEOPLE TO READ - 23

San Davis

Sermon Message Today January 23, 2012

OUR ABSOLUTE SURRENDER TO GOD, MOVES HEAVEN AND BRINGS ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS…

Brethren, I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus and I thank God for the wonderful opportunity to share and minister to you, concerning the power and dominion that God wants to give you in this season, over the attacks of powers and principalities in these last days, that have come against you. I rejoice in the opportunity to serve as LJUSC Elder, a responsibility I value and take quite seriously. For the word says in James 5;14 “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord”. Brethren, I count it a privilege to be able to once again, share a message that will give you power, dominion and release an anointing afresh and anew as you read, pray and apply them to your life situations.

I felt impressed by Holy Spirit to share Prayers and their power to affect your life. I will be sharing Prayers to strengthen, encourage and heal. These prayers can be used at any time for any specific situation as they are divinely inspired and speak prophetically to each situation. There is power in calling those things that be not as though they were! Romans 4:17 “According to what is written: “I have appointed you a father to the multitude of the nations, before God, in whom you believed, who gives life to the dead, and he calls those who are not as though they are.”

Words have power! In the natural world they can hurt or heal one's feelings and attitudes. However, in the spiritual world they are containers of power that can change your life, direct your future, and allow you to get your life in line with God's Will! Words can carry God's Power to literally heal your body, bring financial blessing to your circumstances, and bring the promises of God's Word into this natural realm to bless you and your family! As I pray, I’m speaking into the spirit realm, calling the very forces of heaven, the angelic host and ministering spirit to be released to you and your loved ones, in every area of your existence so you can come know without a shadow of a doubt that the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

I’m believing God for His abundant blessings in every area of your life and those you are praying for. I thank Father God for the anointing being released in this message even as it speaks directly to you and your particular situation. I come in agreement with you, that you might receive the power and dominion that Lord Jesus wants you to have. His word declares that we are the head and not the tail, we are above only and not beneath, we are blessed going in and out and not cursed.

Deuteronomy 2:13 “The LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you only will be above, and you will not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I charge you today, to observe them carefully”. I stand in that authority as we prepare for the release of power and dominion through these prayers.

PRAYER FOR SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS, INCREASE AND AUTHORITY – Brethren please prepare your hearts to receive and get ready for what the Lord has prepared for you.

Heavenly Father, in the wonderful name of Jesus I come before you now thankful in knowing that as I pray according to Your will, that You hear me. Father that which You have inspired in me, I come into agreement now, calling upon the resources of Heaven to release spiritual abundance and to release spiritual fruitfulness. Heavenly Father, I ask that You take Your beloved, to another level in You into the deeper and higher things of Your glory, so that which have been hidden from generations, that they might be made manifest. Lord I take authority over every distraction, over every power and principality that would try to bring confusion concerning the things of Your kingdom and concerning Your will and the destiny that You have ordained. Father I stand as a watchman on Facebook and as one standing in the gap in prayer, for the people of God, binding the power of the enemy that would try to steal the spiritual treasures that You have deposited in Your beloved. Father I stand in agreement now that there will be an increase and that there will be a heightened awareness and sensitivity of Your glory. I stand in agreement, that there will be a greater hunger and passion for the people of LORD JESUS UNIVERSAL SALVATION CHURCH to be drawn into deeper spiritual fellowship with You. I come against every attempt of the enemy to try and distract through the flesh, to get us to focus on things of the flesh and on the problems of natural temporal circumstance. Father, I decree that there will be a release of spiritual anointing that will cause us to always be focused upon You, pressing towards the mark for the prize of the higher calling. I ask You Lord to release spiritual abundance, spiritual fruitfulness, power and authority. Father God, I stand in the authority in Jesus Name and by the authority given in Your Kingdom to bind on earth as it is bound in Heaven and to loose on earth what is loosed in Heaven and I thank You in advance for what You have already done in the lives of Your beloved. I give You all the praise, honor and glory in Jesus Mighty Name…Amen, Amen & Amen!

PRAYER FOR PHYSICAL HEALING, POWER AND STRENGTH - Brethren, use this prayer when you are dealing with elements of physical infirmities and be prepared for the release of power and dominion in the physical realm.

Father God in the Precious Name of Your Son Jesus I come to You today thanking You for the healing virtue that was provided by the 39 stripes that our Lord took upon His back and with those stripes, we stand today claiming our healing and thank You for releasing Your anointing to heal. To every ear that hears what the Spirit of the Lord is saying, I decree that every spirit of infirmity and every assignment of the enemy to bring curses, sickness, oppression, diseases and all other sorts of health issues, pain, suffering and infirmity that they must hear the word of the Lord, that by the stripes of Jesus you are healed. I decree that the powers of heaven are being dispatched now to rebuke, to rescind and to destroy the attacks of the enemy against the health of Gods beloved. With the authority given to bind and loose in the earth as it is in heaven, I decree that all sickness and chronic infirmity, systemic or organic are bound in the name of Jesus including generational infirmities that were passed down through the blood line. I decree that there shall be a release of Gods anointing, His healing power and touch from on high that even as these words go out in the spiritual atmosphere, they shall not return void but it shall accomplish which God pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto He sent it according to Isaiah 55:11. I decree that there is a fresh anointing; a supernatural release of power and dominion permeating the heart, the blood stream, the joints and every fiber of your being, there is a supernatural release of healing. Receive it now in Jesus Name, for Lord Jesus said that we would be blessed with long life and that He would heal all our diseases and that He would let none of those things that He put upon the Egyptians to come upon us, for He is the Lord who healeth thee. Receive your healing now in Jesus Name...Amen, Amen & Amen...

PRAYERFOR EMOTIONAL HEALING, RESTORATION AND WHOLENESS – Brethren use this prayer whenever you feel emotionally drained, restless, hopeless, helpless or in distress. One of the most vulnerable areas that comes under attack is our emotions, it’s in the battle of the mind. When the enemy is able to take advantage of us in that area of life, he has a good chance of dominating us in all the other areas, for the word of God says in Proverbs 23:7 “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” So we see that our thought life and how we perceive things, very much affects how we live our lives. Brethren let this prayer minister to you.

Heavenly Father in the Name of Jesus, I come before you, thanking You that You make provision for every area of our lives as the apostle Paul states that You are the God who supplies all of our needs, not some of them but all of our needs according to Your riches in glory, according to Philippians 4:19. Lord we realize one area that the enemy has been released is in the mind and ultimately the emotions, where there is constant warring against the people of God. I come before You Lord, standing in the gap rebuking the plans of the enemy, releasing Your blessings, healing and encouragement, because You are a shield for us and the lifter of our heads. Even as these words are heard in the earth realm, I pray there is also another release in the spirit realm, a fresh release in the spirit realm to bring about encouragement, a fresh release of anointing to turn things around and come against every dysfunction, every fearful thought, every unclean thought and every and anything that would hinder us in our minds from being open to the leading of Your Spirit. Father God I ask for are lease of Holy Ghost eye savv to be placed on our eyes, so that we are able to look beyond natural circumstances and see in the realm of the spirit. I come against the power of the enemy that tries to overwhelm us through discouragement and has tried to come in like a flood. Father I pray even as I speak that You are raising up a standard and because of this prayer, there is even a turning in the mind and in the thinking of Your beloved, that where there has been desperation, there is now hope, that where there has been unbelief, FAITH is now arising and coming alive. Lord when the enemy comes in to bring about doubt, may the truthfulness of Your word be a witness of Your Spirit that Your Promises are Yeah and Amen. Life and death are in the power of our tongue, therefore I speak encouragement over your life, I speak uplift and I speak a blessing. The Greater One Holy Spirit, dwells within us and we live in the assurance that greater is He who lives within us than the enemy in the world. Thank You Father for Your word which leaves us blessed and encouraged, allowing Joy to break forth. We give the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness in Jesus Name I pray it, Amen, Amen & Amen….

PRAYER FOR FINANCIAL RELEASE AND REBUKE THE SPIRIT OF LACK - Brethren, we live in a troubled time. We live in an era in which the enemy is working overtime in every system, and every area where we are most vulnerable. Those area of vulnerability are in our resources and our finances. Please pray this prayer when you are in need of a financial breakthrough, facing financial issues or financial difficulties.

Oh Dear Lord Jesus I know You hear me as I pray and speak now in the realm of the natural and even as I pray, it flows into the atmosphere of the spirit realm. Lord I now lift up to You, the need, the deficit and the lack, because the prince and power of the air, has come against the resources of Your people. We know the enemy would like nothing more than for us to become impoverish and to see Gods people live in lack, and for our lives to be dictated by the circumstances of our finances. Father God, I believe and speak that there is a release according to Your word in Luke 10:19 "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." and for this we say thanks. I believe according to Your word that there is a release from on high, I believe there is a supernatural release of financial abundance and financial increase, that will supply every need and drive back the spirit of lack and rebuke the devourer off the substance of Gods people. Father God I stand in authority and come against joblessness, I pray that there will be a release in the realm of Employment and restoration, refreshing and recovery of everything that had been lost and that which was stolen by the enemy. Father God, You are the creator and You said the silver, the gold and the cattle on a thousand hill belongs to You. Lord Jesus thank you for releasing this into the lives of Your people. Even the riches of the ungodly and the wealth of those that are iniquitous, are being laid up so it might be transferred into the hands of Your people. Father I pray that even in these troubled times, when lack and joblessness are happening in the financial sector and the financial dimensions of life, that You are going to have a people of testimony. Their lives are going to declare that God is yet the God who puts meal in the barrel and oil in the cruse. Father they will declare that You are yet the God who is able to cause Ravens to come and bring meat in times of need according to I King 17:6 "The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he would drink from the brook." Father God I pray now that there will be an unusual release of financial abundance. I rebuke the spirit of living hand to mouth and living from paycheck to paycheck. Lord even as I pray, I believe there will be a release from unusual and unexpected sources, that there will be a release of financial increase, not simply to satisfy the needs and desires of the flesh or the lust of the eyes but that the work of God might be blessed, so that the Kingdom of God might go forward. Father God, I thank You that as we seek first Your Kingdom and put You first in every area of our lives, that all these other things will be added unto us. I thank You that You are going to move and going to open the windows of Heaven and pour out Your blessings, so that there will not be room enough to contain it. Thank You Lord for doors of opportunities opened to walk into places of blessings, leading us to find hidden manna and hidden resources that others have not found. With this we give You the glory, honor and praise. I ask You to do this and I thank You in advance, in Jesus Mighty Name Amen, Amen & Amen.....

PRAYER FOR FAMILY BLESSINGS AND SALVATION FOR THE LOST - Brethren when you are facing family situation and the enemy is trying to hinder and negatively impact you or loved ones that are not saved or family members you are desiring to come to the Lord, then pray this prayer for the release of blessings of the Lord in every area of the family.

Father God in the name of Jesus, I come into agreement now and according to Your word in Matthew 18:19 "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" and Lord we know that anything has to be according to Your will. Father it is Your will that our families and loved ones come to the full knowledge of You. Father I come into agreement right now that power and dominion will be released into the earth, to any unsaved loved ones that are not walking according to Your will. Lord may the powers and principalities that have held them, these evil spirits that holds spouses, children, cousins, aunties, uncles, dads, moms, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, Father God I pray that every power and principality that holds our loved ones in bondage, will be broken fast in the name of Jesus. I know these evil spirits have broken marriages and relationships and I decree that Your healing power is doing a work of miracle and restoration. I come against the generational pattern of behavior that brings hurt, embarrassment and even shame into our homes and families, I take authority over them right now and I decree that by the blood of Jesus Christ and the power of Holy Spirit those generational patterns and generational curses are broken in Jesus Name. I pray that the powers of SIN that has held fast our loved ones, must be broken and confessed before our Lord Jesus. I call to our family members and friends from the East, West, North & South wherever they are, I call to our family members to the Cross, to Confessions and Repentance so that they might know You Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. Father God I pray that even now You will give these here Your beloved the assurance that their loved ones will be saved for satan will not have the final word over our family members. Father if there are some held fast in the gates of prison, some held fast in the clutches and bondages of addiction and dependency, I call that the prison doors be opened. I call that the chains be loosen and destroyed through the anointing and the power and dominion that is released into our family members now,. Father God as for those loved ones that are walking in Love and Obedience to Your will, Lord just raise them up to a new level and shower them with Your abundance and blessings. Lord Let every good and perfect gift which cometh down from the Father of Lights which is above, let it be manifested in these family members in the Name of Jesus. I pray the family blessings now in Jesus name and even to those we have not spoken to in years, I pray a healing and decree it done in Jesus Name...Amen, Amen & Amen!!!

Precious brothers and sisters, what should we do, then? Whatever we want to come out of our mouth, we should deposit in our heart, then speak it with our mouths! Psalms 119:11 says, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee." Hide the Word of God in your heart! Store it up there! Joshua 1:8, "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." If you want to be prosperous, and have good success, then you should meditate on God's Word! Then what you have stored in your heart will come out of your mouth... and that word, God's Word, will have the power within itself to cause itself to come to pass!

Pray these prayers with faith and be blessed! All glory, honor and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ, without Whom none of these things would have been possible.

Much love brothers and sisters, God bless!

Sis San... :)

THE SPIRITUAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST TO PREPARE FOR THE SOON COMING OF THE LORD JESUS : (Revelation 19: 7-9)

Monday Sermon For LJUSC, January 16, 2012

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

God has always desired from the creation of man in the Garden of Eden to live, dwell, and have fellowship with man. God's heart to do this is communicated to us in the Bible when God tells us that He desires to be spiritually married to a body of people who would love Him with all their heart, mind, soul and strength and who would also be a holy people unto Him. This spiritual body of people is God's Bride.
God began to reveal this truth to the patriarchs of Israel. Through their lives, God began to communicate spiritual pictures of His redemptive plan through the Messiah as well as His desire to be married to a body of people on this earth who would be redeemed, sanctified, and a holy people unto Him. Genesis 24 is a complete story of how Isaac met and married his bride, Rebekah. This Bible story is a spiritual picture of Jesus, the Bridegroom, marrying His future Bride.

ABRAHAM DESIRES A BRIDE FOR ISAAC

In the Bible story, Abraham makes his eldest servant, Eliezer, promise that he would go to the homeland of Abraham and find a wife for his son, Isaac. Abraham desired that this bride for Isaac would be from among his kindred and not from the daughters of the Canaanites where he was living at the time. (Genesis 24:2-4). “ Let us examine the characters in the story and who they spiritually represent. Then, we will also examine the characteristics of the bride who was chosen for Isaac”.

1.Abraham is a spiritual picture of God the Father
2.Eliezer is a spiritual picture of the Holy Spirit
3.Isaac is a spiritual picture of the Bridegroom
4.Rebekah is a spiritual picture of Jesus the Bride of Christ
In this spiritual picture, we can see that God the Father desires to find a Bride for Jesus the Messiah. In order to do this, God sent His Holy Spirit to prepare a people to meet and marry Jesus, the Bridegroom.

A BRIDE FROM AMONG ABRAHAM'S KINDRED

In Genesis 24:2-4, Abraham makes his servant, Eliezer, promise that he will not make Isaac take a wife from among the Canaanites but rather from among Abraham's kindred in Mesopotamia as it is written:

"And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac."

Notice that Abraham instructed his servant to take a wife for Isaac from among Abraham's kindred (family). (Genesis 24:4). What is the prophetic spiritual meaning of this?
All those who have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior are the spiritual seed of Abraham. In Galatians 3:16, 29, it is written:

"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made, He saith not, And to seeds as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ ... And if ye be Christ's, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

Furthermore, Abraham is the father of our faith (Romans 4:16). Spiritually, the heirs of Abraham represent all those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and will be in heaven. The bride which was obtained for Abraham's son, Isaac, (a type of Jesus), was taken from among Abraham's kindred (family). The spiritual heirs of Abraham are all those in the family of God who have accepted Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

Spiritually, we can see that this is a prophetic picture that God is going to take a bride for His son, Jesus, from among the family of God. From this spiritual picture, we can see that God is telling us that not all Christians will be the Bride of Christ, but the Bride will consist of individuals from among the family of God. We will be developing this truth in the rest of this sermon as we examine the spiritual characteristics of God's Bride based upon God's Holy Word.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST IS A SPIRITUAL VIRGIN

The Apostle Paul's desire was to teach, train, disciple believers in Christ so that he could present them unto the Lord as virgins unto Him. In 2 Corinthians 11:2 it is written:

"For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste Virgin to Christ."

In Genesis 24:16, the Bible tells us that Rebekah "knew no man". Spiritually, the Bride of Christ will not allow or practice the ways of the world. She will not be dominated and controlled by the flesh and the sin nature of man. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and her steadfast love for Jesus the Bridegroom, she will overcome the desires and ways of the flesh which seek to dominate the reborn spirit man in Christ Jesus. This does not mean that the Bride of Christ never sins. It only means that the sin nature doesn't dominate her lifestyle while living the Christian life.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST WILL BE A HOLY PEOPLE

The Bride of Christ will be holy before God. A holy Christian has separated himself from the ways of the world and is not dominated by his sin nature and has separated himself unto God. This is the exhortation to believers in Christ in 1 Peter 1:14-16 as it is written:

"As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which has called you is holy (God), so be ye holy in all manner of conversation. Because it is written, 'Be ye holy; for I am holy'. " Therefore, the Bride of Messiah has the same spiritual characteristics as Rebekah when the Bible describes her as being a "damsel" and a "virgin." Just like Rebekah, the Bride of Christ has grown to spiritual maturity , and she has not lived after the ways of the flesh but has separated herself to be a holy people unto God (a virgin).

A BRIDE OF CHRIST MUST BE WILLING TO FOLLOW HIM

Abraham instructed his servant, Eliezer, that the bride for Isaac must be willing to follow Isaac. In Genesis 24:5, Eliezer asked Abraham what he should do if the woman is not willing to follow. In Genesis 24:8, Abraham tells his servant that the bride for Isaac must be willing to follow. In Genesis 24:5-6, 8 it is written:

"And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again to the land from whence thou camest? And Abraham said unto him ... if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this thy oath: only bring not my son thither again."

Spiritually, the Bride of Christ must be willing to follow Jesus with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. Jesus must be the pure desire of the Bride's heart. Pleasing Jesus in all areas of our lives must be the heart's desire of the Bride of Christ.

There are numerous examples in the Gospels where Jesus told various people to follow him. Traditional Christianity has interpreted this to mean that they must leave the ways of the world and accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior in order to be saved so that they can go to heaven. In Christianity, this is taught as the goal of the believer. However, following Jesus means that you are not only saved but you follow Jesus and the Christian life as your lifestyle after you are saved.

Many unbelievers are saved and become converts to Christianity. By doing so, they will be in heaven. However, most converts to Christianity do not become disciples (students) of God's Word. Furthermore, many Christians do not seek to separate themselves from the ways of the world's system and live the Christian life by following God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength after they are saved. To do so is the high calling of God's Bride.

The Bride of Christ must make Jesus, the Bridegroom, the first love of her life. She must seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let's examine some of the examples in the Gospels where Jesus told various people to follow him.

1. We must take up our cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23)
2. We must put Jesus first above our personal interests (Luke 9:57-62)
3. The sheep of Jesus hear His voice and follow Him (John 10:27)
4. Serving Jesus means following Him (John 12:26)
5. If we love Jesus, we will feed his sheep and follow Him (John 21:15-2)

Therefore, just as Rebekah was willing to leave her country and follow Isaac back to the promised land, the Bride of Christ must be willing to lay aside her own personal interests and make Jesus the first love in her life and follow him wherever he asks her to go. To accept this calling is to accept the perfect Will of God in the life of each believer and by doing so, we will become the Bride of Christ just as Rebekah became the bride of Isaac.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST WILL RECEIVE HIS LOVINGKINDNESS TOWARD HER

God bestowed lovingkindness upon Eliezer, the servant of Abraham, by leading and directing his way so that he could find a bride for Isaac. In Genesis 24:12-15 it is written:

"And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham ... and let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink . . let the same be she that thou has appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou has showed kindness unto my master. And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out ..."

Let us look at an example of how God will bestow "lovingkindness" upon His Bride. In Hosea 2:19-20, God betrothed Himself to His Bride in lovingkindness as it is written:

"And I will betroth thee unto me forever: yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord."
Therefore, just as God bestowed lovingkindness upon Eliezer, the servant of Abraham, by leading and directing his way so that he could find a bride for Isaac, even so, God grants and bestows lovingkindness upon and toward His precious Bride.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST WALKS IN THE WAYS OF GOD

The servant of Abraham, Eliezer, prayed to God that He would show him who would be Isaac's bride. In doing this, Eliezer asked for a sign from God concerning who this woman would be. Eliezer asked God to show him a sign that the damsel who would offer a drink to Eliezer's camels would be the bride for Isaac. In Genesis 24:12, 14 it is written:

"And he said, O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham ... And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou has appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master."

The journey of Eliezer to meet and find Rebekah is the journey of God's Bride. God's Bride follows after the Will and heart of God trusting in God to make the camel ride (trials and tribulations in life) to reach God's promised destination. Upon doing so, God's Bride will have an intimate knowledge and relationship with God as she travels in her long journey of life. When she sees God fulfill His Will for her life, she is astonished at the love and mercy of God that God sustained her through the camel ride of life while making her way prosperous and allowing her to see the promise of God fulfilled in her life. Because God is the love of the Bride's life, her love for God is a lifestyle. Carnal Christians who are saved but have lost their first love for God and are living according to the ways of the world do not have this intimate relationship with God.

THE ACTS OF GOD VERSUS THE WAYS OF GOD

The carnal Christian only knows the "acts of God". God saves me from my sins, He heals my body, He blesses me with finances, He delivers me from the crisis of life - but the Bride of Christ knows the ways of God. Not only does she know that God saves us from our sins, heals our bodies from sicknesses and disease, gives us financial blessings and delivers us from the crises of life but she also knows God in a personal and intimate way.

Spiritually, God not only delivers the Bride from Egypt (a type of the world) by showing His marvelous signs and wonders (the acts of God) but God takes the Bride to her spiritual promised land in life as she walks in God's perfect Will during life's journey. However, the carnal Christian while being delivered from Egypt (a type of the world) dies in the wilderness (the trial and tribulations of life) by murmuring and complaining and becoming bitter toward God in the midst of life's trials.
Why did the children of Israel (a type of the carnal Christian) die in the wilderness? They did not know the ways of God. In Psalm 95:10 it is written:

"Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart (they do not have an intimate relationship with God) and they have not known which means "to know intimately') my ways ."

The writer of Hebrews relates this to the Christian life. The exhortation to Christians is to not die in the wilderness of life but to reach the spiritual promised land of God. ( Hebrews 3:14-19; 4:1-3, 11).

As Christians, our hearts' desire should be to remain steadfast on doing the will of God through trials and tribulations of life. By doing so, we will be like Eliezer and will be able to keep our eyes and hearts fixed on remaining faithful to Jesus, our Bridegroom, so that we may be found worthy to be His Bride.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST ENDURES THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF LIFE

In making the journey to find a bride for Isaac, Eliezer took 10 camels. In Genesis 24:10, it is written:

"And the servant took ten camels ... and departed ... to Mesopotamia ..."

There is a spiritual significance that Eliezer took camels. There is also a spiritual significance that he took ten camels. Camels in the Bible spiritually represent life's trials and tribulations as defined by "to labor in the sense of burden bearing."
It is through the trials and tribulations of life as represented by the wilderness for the children of Israel that the Bride of Christ remains steadfast and confident in the provision of God through the wilderness of life and God rewards her by taking His Bride to her spiritual promised land by "dealing bountifully upon her and rewarding her by treating her well."

Eliezer took his ten camels (represented by the trials and tribulations of life) and experienced the kindness of God (Genesis 24:12) by making his way a lifestyle prosperous and allowed him to find Rebekah, the bride for Isaac.

A BRIDE OF CHRIST IS THE SERVANT OF GOD

In Genesis 24:2, 10, Eliezer is called the servant of Abraham, as it is written:
"And Abraham said unto his eldest servant ... and the servant took ten camels of his master and departed ..."

The Bride of Christ is the servant of God. She takes up her burdens (as represented by camels) and follows the Will of God the Father (as represented by Abraham). This can be seen by the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-29 as it is written:
"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden (as represented by the camels) and I will give you rest (take you to your spiritual promised land). Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto our souls."

Furthermore, we saw how Jesus said that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven will do His commandments and teach others to do so (Matthew 5:17-19). Next, we will see that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven will be the servant of all. In Matthew 23:11, Jesus spoke these words:

"But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant "

Jesus also told the disciples in Matthew 20: 26-28 that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven must become a servant. Because Jesus humbled himself to the Will of God the Father and became the servant of all mankind by dying on the cross for us, he became worthy to be the greatest of all in the Kingdom of Heaven. In Matthew 20: 26-28 it is written:

"But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister: and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many".

If we suffer with Christ (as represented by the camels), we will reign with Him (as His Bride). In 2 Timothy 2:12 it is written:

"If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us."

TEN CAMELS REPRESENT A LEGAL CONGREGATION OF BELIEVERS

In Genesis 24:10, Eliezer took ten camels on his journey. What does this spiritually represent? The Jewish people understand that the number 10 means a legal congregation.
The servant of Abraham taking "ten camels" represents a legal congregation of believers (the Bride of Christ) who becomes His Bride by enduring the camel ride (the trials and tribulations of life) while remaining steadfast in love and commitment to the perfect Will of God. Furthermore, the Bride of Christ desires to be pleasing to her heavenly Bridegroom all the days of her Christian life.

THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS

In Matthew 25, Jesus tells a parable of ten virgins. The congregation of believers in Christ is described as virgins unto God. This can be seen in 2 Corinthians 11:2 as it is written:
"I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."

We we can see now that the ten virgins represent the entire congregation of believers in Jesus as Messiah. In the parable, five were wise and five were foolish. The wise virgins were rewarded by being ready to be married to the bridegroom. The foolish virgins were not ready and prepared and missed the wedding. Likewise, it is so with the congregation of believers in Jesus as Messiah. From the ten virgins (a legal congregation ), some virgins were foolish (carnal Christians) and some virgins were wise (the Bride of Christ). The wise virgins were ready for the marriage and were married to the Bridegroom.

Therefore, in Genesis 24:10, the servant of Abraham taking "ten camels" represents a legal congregation of believers (the Bride of Christ). They become His Bride through enduring the camel ride (the trials and tribulations of life) remaining steadfast in love and commitment to the perfect Will of God while desiring to be pleasing unto Him all the days of her Christian life.

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST DRINKS OF THE WELL OF THE WATER OF LIFE

In Genesis 24:11, when Eliezer arrived in Mesopotamia, he arrived at a "well of water" for his camel "at the time when woman go out to draw water." In Genesis 24:11 it is written:

"And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water".

Spiritually, the "well of water"represents the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit. The Bride of Christ will have the outpouring of the anointing and manifestation of God's Holy Spirit upon her life "at the time that women (the bride) go out to draw water."
The Bible tells us in Isaiah 12:2-3 that God's people will "draw water" out of the wells of salvation. In John 7:37-39, Jesus tells us that the river of living water is the Holy Spirit.
In John 7:37, 39, this is seen as being the great outpouring of God's Holy Spirit as it is written:

"In the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink, He that believeth on me, as the Scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake he of the (Holy Spirit) ..."

In the midst of this mighty outpouring of God's Holy Spirit upon His Bride, the earth will be experiencing its darkest time in history. In Isaiah 60:1-3 it is written:

"Arise shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising."

Therefore, we can see that in Genesis 24:11 that the servant of Abraham bringing his camels by a "well of water" at the time when women (the bride) "go to draw water" (the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit) is a prophetic spiritual picture of God pouring out His Holy Spirit upon His Bride at the time of the spiritual latter rain outpouring of His Spirit upon the world until the coming Rapture of the Church.

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST WILL REIGN WITH JESUS DURING THE MILLENIUM KINGDOM OF CHRIST

In Genesis 24:14-18, 20, 43, 45-46, Rebekah is holding, filling, and carrying a pitcher of water. In Genesis 24:46, it says that this picture was upon the shoulder of Rebekah as it is written:

"And she made haste, and let down her pitcher from her shoulder and said, Drink; and I will give thy camels drink also: so I drank, and she made the camels to drink also."

The shoulder is a picture of government. The pitcher of water on the shoulder of Rebekah is a spiritual picture of the Bride of Christ ruling and reigning with Christ during the Messianic Age.
In Isaiah 9:6, the shoulder is a picture of the government of God. During the Millenium Kingdom of Chrsit, Jesus will be ruling and reigning over that government as it is written:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace."

Because the government of God will be upon the shoulders of Jesus during the The Millennium Kingdom of Christ (The messianic Age) and because Rebekah (a picture of God's Bride) was carrying a pitcher of water on her shoulder, this is a spiritual picture that when Jesus, the Bridegroom, will marry His Bride and they become one, they will rule and reign together on the earth during the Messianic Age. This can be seen in Revelation 5:10 as it is written:

"And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."

REBEKAH BECOMES THE BRIDE OF ISAAC

After Eliezer met Rebekah, he met with Rebekah's father, Bethuel, and Rebekah's sister, Laben. Then, Eliezer told Bethuel and Laben how he was sent by Abraham to find a bride for Isaac and how the Lord showed him lovingkindness by allowing him to find the family of Abraham and how the Lord showed Rebekah that she was to be the bride for Isaac In Genesis 24:51, Bethuel and Laben agreed to allow Rebekah to marry Isaac as it is written:

"Behold, Rebekah is before thee, take her, and go and let her be thy master's son's wife, as the Lord hath spoken."
Next, they have a banquet meal. This is a spiritual picture of the banquet meal that the Bride of Christ will have with Him at the Marriage of the Lamb. In Revelation 19:7 it is written:
"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready".

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST MUST BE WEANED FROM THE MILK

The Patriarchs of Israel not only had a banquet meal to celebrate a marriage but they also had a feast whenever a young child was weaned from childhood and had become an adult. When Isaac was weaned, Abraham made a great feast for Him. In Genesis 21:8 it is written:

"And the child (Isaac) grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned."

Whenever we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we become babies in the Kingdom of Heaven. In order to become married, we need to grow from babies to adults. Likewise, baby Christians need to become spiritually mature adult Christians. When we do this, we will be qualified to marry Jesus, the Bridegroom.
No Rfid Chip bridegroom would marry an underaged and underdeveloped bride. Spiritually, in the same way we must grow from being spiritual babies who partake of the "milk' (the elementary things) of God's Word to being spiritual adults who are able to digest the "meat" (the deeper things) of God's Word.
Whenever we are newborn babies in Christ, we must desire the "milk' of God's Word. In I Peter 2:2 it is written:

"As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby."

However, God desires that we grow in spiritual maturity and are weaned from the milk of His Word. In Isaiah 28:9 it is written:

"Whom shall he teach knowledge (the deeper things of God's Word)? And whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts." By being weaned from the "milk" of God's Word, God desires that His children grow up spiritually to become spiritual adults. This can be seen in Hebrews 5:12-14 as it is written:

"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

When Isaac was weaned, Abraham had a great feast for him. Spiritually, this is a picture that God's reward for those who are weaned from the milk of the Word of God will be able to become spiritual adults and attend the marriage banquet between Jesus, the Bridegroom, and His Bride. Just as Rebekah was able to marry Isaac because she physically grew from being a child to being a damsel of marriage age, in like manner, the Bride of Christ must strive to grow from spiritual children to spiritual maturity.

In concluding this sermon, we saw how the marriage between Isaac and Rebekah in Genesis 24 is a prophetic spiritual picture of Jesus marrying His Bride. In studying Genesis 24, we began to examine some of the spiritual characteristics of God's Bride. Those characteristics include the following conclusions.

THE 10 SPIRITUAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

1.The Bride of Christ will be the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. She will keep and teach the commandments of God. (Matthew 5:17-19)
2.The Bride of Christ will be a remnant of individual believers from among the entire family of God.
3.The Bride of Christ will be a spiritual virgin unto God.
4.The Bride of Christ must be willing to follow Jesus. Pleasing God the Father is a consuming desire of the Bride. She must love God with all her heart, mind, soul and strength.
5.The Bride of Christ will endure the trials and tribulations of life while remaining faithful to God during these hard times. She will not return to the world and the ways of the world while encountering the trials and tribulations of life.
6.The Bride of Christ will have God's loving kindness bestowed upon her life.
7.The Bride of Christ will fulfill God's perfect Will for her life.
8.During the time of the coming Rapture of the Church, God will pour out His Holy Spirit upon His Bride and will anoint her with great power and manifestation and she will be a great light unto the whole world in the Last Days.
9.The Bride of Christ will be weaned from the milk of God's Word and will have grown to spiritual maturity.
10.God will reward the spiritual faithfulness of His Bride by allowing her to be the Holy Bride of Christ and partake in the Marriage of the Lamb.(Revelation 19:7-9)

Dear Precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Finally, we have come to a clear knowledge and understanding how Abraham instructed his eldest servant, Eliezer, to go back to Abraham's homeland and find a bride for his son, Isaac, from among Abraham's kindred. In this Bible story, Abraham is a spiritual picture of God the Father. Eliezer is a spiritual picture of the Holy Spirit. Isaac is a spiritual picture of Jesus, the son of God. After a long journey, Eliezer found a bride for Isaac. Her name was Rebekah, that is the symbol of the Bride of Christ.

Spiritually, the Holy Spirit is instructed by God to find a bride for Jesus, the heavenly bridegroom. Even as the bride for Isaac was taken from among the kindred of Abraham, the Bride of Christ will also be taken from among the Family of God, that is the Body of Christ.

At the end closing of this sermon, We may learn how the Bride of Christ is chosen by the Holy Spirit to marry with the Bridegroom, the Lord Jesus which should be ready and get prepared for the coming of the Lord to attend the Wedding Ceremony in Heaven through having the 10 characteristics of the bride and we should consider to learn this spiritual design of Christ in marrying the Bride of Christ that He might sanctify and cleanse it, and that is should be perfectly holy and without blemish. Furthermore, In the Book of Revelation, John informs us that he saw those who had washed their robes and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb. How beautifully the Lamb's wife is described in the twenty-first chapter, coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

May the Lord welcome all of us soon when we attend the Marriage Ceremony of the Bridegroom and His Bride after the Rapture of the Church has taken place in Heaven.

41) * THE PRAYERS & SERMONS OF OUR STANDING MINISTERS FOR PEOPLE TO READ - 21

San Davis

Sermon Lesson for Monday January 9, 2012.

THE BIBLE, GODS HOLY INSPIRED WORD - THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH OF GOD OR JUST THE BEST SELLING BOOK IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.

The Word of God will prepare you to Hear His Voice "Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."Psalm 119:105. Knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.

The Bible has inspired the greatest literature, the greatest art, the greatest examples of architecture, the cathedrals, churches, the age of exploration, world missions, the rule of law, the separation of powers, checks and balances, representative government, the sanctity of life, and so much more that we take for granted.

Just consider some of the everyday things which has been inspired by the Bible. The word "breakfast" comes from the concept of breaking the fast. The word "restaurant" comes from Jesus' promise in Matthew 11:28 "come to me, all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." The first restaurant, founded in Paris in 1766, placed that verse from Matthew 11:28 in bold letters outside this first public establishment dedicated to providing meals in a pleasant atmosphere.

The fact that our week consists of seven days is a testimony to the fact of God creating the world in six days and rested on the seventh. The practice of Sunday being a Day of rest dates back to the Christian tradition of honouring the first day of the week as the Lord's Day, remembering that Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the first day of the week. The very way we date our years is a testimony to the centrality of Christ. All of history is divided into BC - Before Christ; or AD - Anno Domini - in the year of our Lord for Jesus Christ is the focus of history.

It is not only an armor, but also a whole armory of weapons, both offensive and defensive. It has withstood the test of wide usage in all English speaking countries. The Bible, of course, is the best selling book of all time....The Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible is the religion of Christ's Church.....A man has deprived himself of the best there is in the world who has deprived himself of the Word of God!

THE BIBLE IS TRUTH

But what proof do we have that the HOLY BIBLE, the word of God is real and that it is the absolute truth of God. I ask this because, the muslims have a quran that they say is real, and the hindus and the buddhist have their books that they also say are real. So how do we prove that GODS HOLY BIBLE is true and real?

Well the most obvious way we know and can prove that the Holy Bible, Gods Holy Word is real, is because of the Universal Authority that occurs when the word is preached anywhere in the world. The Bible has stood the test of time. The words of wisdom found in Scriptures of old, still hold true today. History has also proven God’s Word to be true. The truths and principles therein are as applicable to our lives as they were to the lives of Abraham, David and the Apostle Paul.

For example there are other religions that if you were to go into their building and sit and listen to the reading, it would be like listening to poetry, or reading a novel or listening to a story, it stirs emotions but it is void of HOLY SPIRIT power! Then you are told by the reader to go out and act like it says to act like the holy book says to act. With no power, that is all it will ever be an act.

But let me tell you about Gods Holy Bible, His Holy word is Quick and Powerful, "For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12. and David said "This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy word hath quickened me" Psalm 119:50 and the word Quiken means to make alive! I am constantly amazed by the fact that the Bible, written so long ago, is still relevant today. In Matthew 24:3, Jesus tells us, “Heaven and earth will pass away but My words shall not pass away.” Again in Isaiah 40:8, God assures us, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of God stands forever.”

Let me tell you again how I know Gods Holy Bible is real, because there have been hundreds, thousands, even millions of people whose lives has been impacted instantly and completely totally healed, delivered and changed by the power and preaching of the gospel in the word of God including mine and even yours!

The Holy bible is the only book where you can begin reading a story anywhere from Genesis to the book of Revelations and people get up jumping and shouting Hallelujah because of the illumination of the word as well as the power that comes forth out of it. Anywhere in the world, the reading of THE HOLY BIBLE, God's Holy Book, His Holy Spirit Inspired Words has the same effect. Gods word is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

The most powerful weapon against fear and worry is scripture. You can find a scripture that pertains to your circumstances no matter what they are and lean on their power to reassure you. But why are the words of the Bible so much more powerful than others? It's because the Word of God has been unchangeable down through the centuries, unchangeable and reliable at all times.

No matter where in the world you go and preach Gods Holy Words, conviction comes. Its the only book that promises eternal life, its the only book that promises eternal salvation Hallelujah!! The God who delivered the Israelites yesterday will deliver you today and your children tomorrow. God's love, power and almighty presence are unceasing. What a wonderful and reassuring feeling that is!

"Every thinking man, when he thinks, realises that the teachings of the Bible are so interwoven with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible for us to figure what life would be if those teachings were removed. We would lose almost all the standards by which we now judge both public and private morals; all the standards to which we, with more or less resolution, strive to raise ourselves." Theodore Roosevelt.

"The Scriptures teach us the best way of living, the noblest way of suffering, and the most comfortable way of dying." John Flavel.

"I have done nothing; the Word has done and accomplished everything." Martin Luther.

"A Bible reading laity is a nation's surest defence against error." J.C. Ryle.

"It is a miracle how God has so long preserved His Book! How great and glorious it is to have the Word of God!" Martin Luther.

"The Christian feels that the tooth of time gnaws all books but the Bible…19 centuries of experience have tested it. It has passed through critical fires no other volume has suffered and its spiritual truth has endured the flames and come out without so much as the smell of burning." W.E. Sangster.

"Doers of the Word are the best hearers." Thomas Watson.

"My conscience is captive to the Word of God." Martin Luther.

"In regard to this great book, I have got to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good Saviour gave to the world was communicated through this Book. But for it, we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in It." Abraham Lincoln.

"A man has deprived himself of the best there is in the world who has deprived himself of this, a knowledge of the Bible. When you have read the Bible, you will know that it is the Word of God, because you will have found it the key to your own heart, your own happiness, and your own duty." Woodrow Wilson.

"In this age of space flight when we use the modern tools of science to advance into new regions of human activity, the Bible…remains in every way an up to date book. Our knowledge and use of the laws of nature that enable us to fly to the moon, also enable us to destroy our home planet with the atom bomb. Science itself does not address the question whether we should use the power at our disposal for good or for evil. The guidelines of what we ought to do are furnished in the moral Law of God." Wernher von Braun.

"A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education." Theodore Roosevelt.

"Education is useless without the Bible." Noah Webster.

"The Bible is the chief moral cause of all that is good, and the best corrective of all that is evil, in human society; the best Book for regulating the temporal concerns of men, and the only Book that can serve as an infallible guide…the principles of genuine liberty, and of wise laws and administrations, are to be drawn from the Bible and sustained by its authority. The man therefore, who weakens or destroys the Divine authority of that Book may be accessory to all the public disorders which society is doomed to suffer…" Noah Webster.

"The moral principles and precepts contained in the Scriptures ought to form the basis of all of our civil constitutions and laws…All the miseries and evils which men suffer from - crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war - proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible." So brethren understand this, the fact that the authority of words of the HOLY BIBLE can be felt and has the same effect, when it is preached in any nation, tells us something about Gods book. It is not just a book written by any man who just put a bunch of stories together, because if it was a man made book, it would have no more power than just reading a novel.

HOLY BIBLE the best selling book in the whole wide world! Amen, Amen & Amen!
All GLORY,HONOR AND PRAISE TO OUR Lord and Father, Who gives us the grace, wisdom and knowledge to express His Heart through His inspired word. Amen!!
